Guild of the Goat is a theatre company founded by Amba Suhasini K Jhala and Rudy in March 2017.
It’s pretty simple really - we want to create work that is exciting, relevant, contemporary and makes both you and us question ourselves and this world that we inhabit.
As a company we choose not to have a unifying artistic vision or a trademark aesthetic. We are practitioners with different trainings, different approaches and different experiences and that is our strength. We hope to create work that is just as motley as we are and build audiences just as diverse.

InterWEBS_
a collaboration with our sister company -
Walkabout Theatre, Chicago.
During a collective moment of physical distancing, the ten artists of InterWEBS_ gathered to share virtual space, tell stories, and make art across the internet, From Chicago to the east coast of the US; from Nunavut in northern Canada to Nairobi, Kenya; and from Delhi, India to parts of Hawaii, the project was an opportunity to explore remote and asynchronous modalities of art-making.
Each project was independently created and developed by the contributing artists, and our gatherings were an opportunity for intentional dialogue and creative support during this unique period of change and upheaval.
The project’s thematic seeds of land, climate change, storytelling, and social transformation emerged as a result of a coming together of this group.

An international collaboration with the Shakespeare Ensemble UK,
What You Will is a step towards a virtual theatrical promenade.
Inspired by Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, What You Will is a fresh approach to online performance. This is not a re-telling of the story of Twelfth Night. This is an exploration of mood, of motif and humanity: a collage of mind states of the play’s characters, shipwrecked in their own lives.
Goats Amba and Rudy played Maria and Orsino respectively in this online theatrical extravaganza!
