Amba-Suhasini Jhala Katoch
Amba-Suhasini is a professional Actor and Director. Amba graduated in 2009 from The London School of Music and Dramatic Art,
where she trained in Classical Acting for two years, she then lived and worked in London ,as an actor, for another three years.
She is now based out of Delhi and is artistic directer and co-founder of the Guild of the Goat Theatre Company
and directed the company’s first play, Futureproof by Lynda Radley. As an actor she has worked in the mediums of television,
film, theatre and as a voice over artist both in the UK and in India.
Toss A Coin Theatre was set up in 2012, by Amba when she returned to India.
In addition to developing their own plays the company worked extensively with schools, organisations, companies, teams
and departments; running and designing bespoke theatre workshops.
And though the company is now dissolved to give way to Guild of the Goat, Amba continues to work regularly with children,
both privately and through schools and institutions.
Amba is also a drama-based learning facilitator and role player. She works as an actor and facilitator with a speciality in drama-based and interactive training. She has worked on a variety of scenarios covering the topics of effective communication,
leadership techniques, diversity, performance skills and employee development.
Amba collaborated with Walkabout Theatre in 2016, and travelled to Chicago to create a play with them.
Amba is fluently bilingual in English and Hindi and Gujarati.
